Georgia M. Hutchison, 92, passed away on July 10, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born on December 30, 1931 in Antioch, IN to John Homer Scales and Bessie Bell (Miller) Scales. Georgia married Donald Hutchison on April 27, 1949. For many years, she worked as a lab technician at Pfizer. Georgia was an active member of First Baptist Church in Hymera, and she and Don both enjoyed boating and camping.

She is survived by her loving husband of 75 years, children Marlene Bourgasser (Gene), Rodney Hutchison (Christy), and Alan Hutchison; sister Zada Barnett and Rosemary Keller; grandchildren Kirt, Angella, Chad, Kim, Kevin, and Greg; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by both parents, a brother, a sister, three brothers-in-law, and a sisters-in-law.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 4 pm at K. of P. Cemetery in Hymera, IN.
