Geneva Irene Adkins Van Ulzen, 88, of Martinsville, Illinois passed away Thursday July 22, 2021 in Heartland Nursing and Rehab. She was born June 2, 1933 in Terre Haute to Jesse and Geneva (Henry) Easton. She is survived by daughter, Connie Rawley (Gary Gilley); sons, Donn Adkins, Kevin Adkins, Denny Adkins, and Jay Van Ulzen; 13 grandchildren, several gret-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Miley Adkins; son, Mark Adkins; sister, Agnes Tomlinson and brothers, Robert Easton, Lawrence Easton, and Verner Easton. Geneva was a member of the First Church of Nazarene. She had worked at K-Mart and was a Foster Grandmother of many years. Visitation will be Tuesday July 27, 2021 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Justin Sweitzer officiating.
