Gary R. Gordon 65, of Terre Haute, passed away at Union Hospital on Friday, December 4, 2015; after a long illness. Gary was born December 22, 1949 to Wanda and Bill Gordon. He is preceded in death by his father Bill Gordon, brother Jerry Gordon, and sisters Sharon Gordon and Theresa Gordon. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Amy Gordon; his mother Wanda Gordon, son Bill Gordon, step children Jay Wolfe (Priscilla), Jodi Radcliffe (Keith), Keri White (Randy), and seven grandchildren Jared and Kenzie Wolfe, Lindsay Wolfe (Steven Nevins), Jenny Jones (Preston), Robert, James and Johnathon Radcliffe (Brooke), and four great grandchildren, Isabella, Allison, Drew, and August. Gary loved to be in the outdoors; he especially loved hunting with his best friend Joe Yaraschefski and sons. If Gary wasn't hunting he could be found fishing or just enjoying life outside with his loving family. Gary served with the 1st Marine Division during the Vietnam War; he retired from Duke Energy along with his 20 year employment at JI Case. Gary is going to be loved and missed dearly by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Wednesday December 9, 2015, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Lawn Chapel with military honors being provided by Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guard. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 PM at DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
