Gary W. Copra, 59, passed away July 22, 2023 surrounded by family. He was born on September 25, 1963 in Terre Haute to Nick Copra Sr. and Mildred (Childress) Copra. He worked at Vigo Dodge as a car detailer and an owner of his own lawn service.

He is survived by his sister Annie (Wayne) Montgomery, his nieces Jennifer Wright of Kentucky, Ginger Montgomery of Linton, Regina (Matthew) Mustafa of Fishers and Gracie (Matthew) Brough of Freelandville, his great nieces Marley (Joe) Frailey of Kentucky, Erica Wright of Kentucky, Madilyn Mustafa of Fishers and great nephews Nathaniel Mustafa of Fishers and Aiden Mustafa of Fishers, aunts, Martha Porter, Virginia Reese, Nancy Banta, Carol (John) Cook, Sharon Smith of Arizona, Beryle George, an uncle John (Penny) Childress and a lot of close cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Mary, Becky, Nick Jr. and Debbie.

He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and being in the company of his companions, Deja and Blackie.

Cremation has been entrusted to DeBaun Funeral Home, and a private burial will be held at Highland Lawn. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
