Gary Ray Chapman, 72, passed away on February 27, 2026. He was born on June 7, 1953 in Terre Haute to Ted and Esther Chapman. He graduated from Honey Creek High School. Gary married Marcia (Clark) Chapman on November 12, 2024. He was also one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

He is survived by his wife Marcia, son Ben Smith, siblings Leisa Brown, Sherrie Adams, and Laurie Chapman; one granddaughter, and his beloved cat G.G..

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Jeremy Smith, and sister Rhonda Gilley.
