Gail L. Owens, 69, of Terre Haute passed away Friday October 13, 2017 at 11:03 pm in Cobblestone Crossing Health Care Campus. She provided in-home daycare for over 20 years. Gail was born December 10, 1947 in Terre Haute to Ray Carson Rector and Lucille (Wolfe) Rector. She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Owens Puryear her husband Bubba of North Carolina and their children Jack, Kasarah, Tristan, and Kaitlyn; a son, Marc Owens and his girlfriend Debbie Folts of Terre Haute and her children Samantha McCroklin and Amanda Folts; and a brother, Dave Rector and his wife Connie of Terre Haute. Gail was a member of Union Christian Church. Visitation will be Tuesday October 17, 2017 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Mark Grayless officiating. Private burial will be in Roselawn Memorial park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that for those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Lighthouse Mission (envelopes available at the funeral home).
