Freida R. Moore, 89, of Terre Haute passed away December 6, 2019. Born October 22, 1930 in Terre Haute to Earl Farrand and Elma Keegan Farrand.  Freida was a 1948 honors graduate of Wiley High School.  After graduating she worked as a secretary for the Terre Haute Ordinance Depot with military clearance.  On May 8, 1955 she married the love of her life, Charles Moore.  The couple moved from Terre Haute to Evansville for a short time where Freida worked for Social Security.  After returning to Terre Haute she was a homemaker.  In 1981when Freida became a widow at the age of 50 she returned to the workforce as a realtor and an insurance agent.

Freida was a member of St. Benedict's  Church.  She is survived by daughter Penny Cusick (John), son K.C. Moore, sister Pat Hunt (Jim), brother Fred Farrand (Jo), loving grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Moore and son Tom Moore.

Visitation will held Thursday, December 12, 2019 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon.   Services will follow visitation with Pastor Julie Puttmann  officiating.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Freida to Heart to Heart Hospice at www.hearttohearthospice.com.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.   A special thank you goes out to Margo Hayes, Lisa Kupferer,  Karla Orman, Stacey Burkey, Angie and Tanya from Heart to Heart Hospice, and nephew Mike Hunt and his wife Diane for the love, support and care given to Freida and her family.
