Frederick "Fred" Henry Hartmann, 79, passed away February 19. 2020 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital.  He was the oldest son of Herman and Helen Hartmann.  He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sharon; brother David; niece Michelle Myers of Edinburg, IL, as well as nephew Jon Hartmann.  Fred was a metal sheet worker for 60 years, following family tradition.  He also worked on the family farm.  Fred enjoyed hunting and especially the trips to Colorado with his friends.  he also enjoyed fishing and gardening.  Visitation for Fred will be held on Sunday, February 23rd from 4-8:00 PM at DeBaun Springhill Chapel.  Visitation will also be held on Monday, February 24th from 11:00-1:00 at the funeral home with funeral services starting at 1:00 PM.  Burial at Roselawn memorial Park will follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Antique Tractor Show at the Vigo County Fair.  Online condolences may be left at DeBaunfuneralhomes.com
