Franklin A. Runkle, Jr., 64 of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 in his residence. He was born in Terre Haute on May 13, 1951 to Franklin A. Runkle, Sr. and Zoetta Ward Runkle, and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service. He is survived by his son Jerrad Runkle (wife April), and their children Owen and Lela and his daughter Mary Hickey (husband Bryce), and their children Wyatt and Waylon. Also surviving are two brothers, John Martin Runkle and William Runkle (wife Starla), and four sisters; Wendy Foster (husband Bill) Sandra Weidner (husband Werner), Brenda Tuttle (husband Harry), and Cindy Beck. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 7:00 PM. Friends may visit on Wedesday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at DeBaun Springhill Chapel. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow services.
