Francis "Wes" Mimms, 74, of Terre Haute passed away on Sunday November 4 2018 at Cobblestone Crossing.  He was born on December 17, 1943 in Orlando Florida to Paul Mimms and Marguerite "Girouard" Mimms. Wes is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley "Curley" Mimms; his parents; brother Paul-Remley Mimms; his sister Julie Mimms.  Wes is survived by his sons Randal Martin-Race (Dani) Gregory Mimms (Denise) James Mimms (Lana) Brian Mimms (Dorothy); his step sons Joe Fitch Jr (Michelle) Kenneth Fitch, Phil Fitch (Lori); his daughter Leslie Mimms; sister Pauline Meyon Mimms; Grandchildren McKenzie Mimms, Delaney Mimms, Jared Mimms, Alex Mimms, Sam Mimms, Paul Mimms, Mark Mimms, April Quemada, Joe Fitch III, Rachel Fitch, Amber Hunt, Ashley Patterson, Amanda Quinn, and Casey Fitch; eight great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.  Wes spent much of his life selling cars for Ford.  He enjoyed boating, traveling and entertaining friends.  Visitation for Wes will be held at DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel on Friday November 9 from 2-6 PM with services starting at 6 PM. Father Dale Ehrman will be officiating.
