Frances K. "Tancy" Jurls, 86, went to be with her Lord in Heaven on Saturday August 7, 2021. She was born March 18, 1935 in Terre Haute to Charles and Fleta (Wilhoit) Krackenberger. She worked for many years as an accountant/bookkeeper for Motor Freight but most importantly she was a loving wife and mother. Tancy is survived by her husband of 68 years, Fred J. Jurls; daughter, Bonnie Cash (Mike); son, Doug Jurls and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Pam Jurls and sisters, Virginia Millspaugh and Norma Jean Brewer. She was a 75 year member of the Church of Christ where she taught a ladies class for many years. Tancy was the first Drum Majorette at Gerstmeyer Tech and helped write the school fight song. She loved to travel with her husband and work in her flower garden. Visitation will be Friday August 13, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel and on Saturday August 14, 2021 from noon until 1:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Minister John Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
