Forest Lee Hedge, 74, of Terre Haute passed away July 11, 2015 after a brief illness. He was born on March 23, 1941 to Forest and Adelene (Girton) Hedge and they have preceded him in death. He was also preceded by a sister Shirley Westjohn and a brother George Daughty. Forest was a retired member of Laborers Local 204 and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Esther Fields Hedge whom he married on August 2, 1958; a son Terry Hedge, and three daughters Charlene Gariano and her husband Ed, Tina Hedge Henry, and Donna Drake and her husband Tim. There are nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a lifelong friend Vern Campbell. Forest was loved by many friends and family members. Funeral services will be held in DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 10 a.m. with Bishop Dennis Sanders officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 and one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
