Florence W. Roehm of Farmersburg passed peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, December 20, 2024. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 31, 1938, to Julia and Con Wrin. Florence is survived by her husband, Paul Thomas "Tom" Roehm, children Terri (John) Hemminghouse, Beth (Jeff) Lewis, Amy (John) Ridge and Dan (Donna) Roehm. She is also survived by grandchildren, Neil, Lee and Bridget Hemminghouse, Craig and Brett Lewis, Meagan and Micah May and Jake Roehm; great grandchildren, Coco and CJ Hemminghouse, Luke and Dylan Hemminghouse, Harper and Hadley Lewis, Hayden Vaugh and Lyla Lewis, Lantz and Landree Frazee, Mercy and Millie Samm. Her siblings, Bill (Connie) Wrin, Judy Hunt, Laurie Ifert and Ed Wrin; special cousin Mary Jane Willoughby, sisters-in-law Ann (Larry) DeCamp ,Toni Roehm, Pat Wrin, a host of cousins, nieces and nephews survive her. She was preceded in death by parents, Julia and Con Wrin, siblings Joann Colas, Bob Wrin, Dan Wrin, Jim Wrin, brothers-in-law Steve Ifert, John Roehm, special niece Molly Kinnett and special aunt Elizabeth Fidler.
Florence and Tom married April 27, 1957, and had a loving relationship for 67 years. They spent many years traveling and living in Wears Valley next to Smokey Mountain National Park. They then returned to Farmersburg to be closer to family. Florence was a woman of faith and the glue of her family. She loved her family greatly and was always doing for them. She enjoyed baking, gardening, sewing, family pets, bird watching, family visits and gatherings.
A funeral mass will be held for Florence at Noon on Monday December 23, 2024 at St Mary's Catholic Church, Sullivan, IN. Visitation will be at the church from 10 AM to Noon prior to the funeral mass. Private burial will follow.
