Florence Reilly Morgan went to be with our Lord and Savior on October 9. 2014 in Clinton Gardens with her daughter at her side. She was the wife of Kenny Reilly Jr., owner and operator of Reilly Tavern and the founder of The Silent Men and Women. Kenny died in December 1990 . Flo married Bud Morgan, saxophone player of The Men of Note and The Baxter Band. He died in 1993. Flo has one brother Harvey Mercier of Providence , R. I. and one daughter, Gerri Lawson and son-in-law Floyd of Terre Haute, IN. She has three grandchildren Angela Sasso and husband Mike of London, England, Kenny Austin and wife Alicia and Mitzi Martin of Terre Haute, IN. Five great- grandchildren ; Courtney, Alison and Rachel Austin and Hayden and Jose` Martin. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church of Terre Haute for 50 years. Flo loved to dance and always said "I'd rather dance than eat." She was a member of the Moose. Flo will be missed by her devoted friend and dance partner Leland Stanley. Flo worked as a clerk for Nancy's Nutrition Store where she learned the value of vitamins, which helped her live a long and healthy life. Flo moved to Clinton Gardens on December 8, 2012 where she was cared for by a wonderful and loving staff. She was also cared for by three wonderful people from "Heart to Heart" who were there by her side for hours. Flo was a real lady, she always had her earrings and her lipstick on, up to the very end. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, her friend . Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14 , 2014 from 11-1 pm at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Dr. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 1:30 pm at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Bernie LaMontagne officiating.
