Everett "Butch" Leon Alumbaugh, 57, Farmersburg, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, December 11, 2015. Butch was born on February 12, 1958 in Sullivan County to George Delain Alumbaugh and Eva Irene (Burch) Alumbaugh. Butch's mother died when he was a toddler and his Grandma Ella Alumbaugh became the loving mother he no longer had. Butch is survived by his wife of 37 years Betty Jean "Liston" Alumbaugh. One son, Jeremy Delain Alumbaugh and wife Trista, one daughter, Ashley Gayle Alumbaugh and four very special grandchildren, Emma Gayle Alumbaugh, Kaden Leon Alumbaugh, Gage Delain Alumbaugh and Keegan William Alumbaugh. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Nellie Liston, two sisters-in-law, Nancy Liston and Barbara Johnson, a nephew, Cole Johnson and a niece, Kenzie Johnson, two aunts Pat (Lloyd) Wilkins and Joyce Alumbaugh as well as many cousins. Butch was preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, his father-in-law, Gale Liston, as well as many other relatives.
