Evelyn Ruth Hutchinson, 72, of Shelburn passed away peacefully in her residence on May 14, 2018.  She was born in Terre Haute on May 12, 1946 to George and Catherine (Downey) Dixon.  Evelyn graduated from Shulte High School in 1964, she worked as a banker and loved traveling.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Melissa Hutchinson of Indianapolis, son Alan Hutchinson of Shelburn, their father Donald Hutchinson, and two sisters Mary Sullivan (Carl) and Catherine "Peggy" Curtis.  Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents and brother in law Chuck Curtis.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery with Father Dan Bedel officiating.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to NAMI of Indiana in memory of Evelyn.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
