Evelyn L. Frederick, 95, of Freelandville, Indiana and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, October, 26, 2021.  She was born April 24, 1926 in Shelburn, Indiana to Roy J. Caton and Floy A. Jewell Caton.  Evelyn enjoyed sewing, gardening, and working puzzles. She and Lloyd enjoyed motorcycle riding and belonged to a riding club.  She spent over 20 years working for the Vigo County School Corporation as a cook and server.  Most of all Evelyn loved to spend time with her family.  She especially loved Christmas and hosting the family gatherings.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter Carol Long (Bud) and Donna Stephens, seven grandchildren, and ten plus great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 60 years, Lloyd Frederick, son Byron Frederick, daughter Cathy Frederick, brother Gordon Caton, sister Beulah Akers, and son-in-law Mike Stephens.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. and burial will follow at Hull Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
