Evelyn Jane Fisher, 87, of Farmersburg passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

She was born January 25, 1930 in Farmersburg to Frank L. McLoney and Laura Coffman McLoney.

Evelyn was a graduate of Farmersburg High School. She worked as a retail clerk at Roots' Department Store. Evelyn enjoyed word searches, gardening, sewing and was a Jeff Gordon fan.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 59 years, Orren Fisher; her sister, Minnie Kronemeyer; and her granddaughter, Jessica Power, and grandson Andrew Power.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Fisher and Frank Fisher; her daughter, Mary Grimes and her husband, Hannis; and her brothers, Frank McLoney, Jr. and John McLoney. Evelyn is also survived by her grandchildren, Jenny Power, Katharine Fisher, Zach Power, her special caregiver, and Sarah Fisher.
