Evah Lynn Bauer, 85, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday September 20, 2016 at 9:38 am in Springhill Village. She had worked as an inspector for CBS. Evah was born February 2, 1931 in Vigo County to Hobert Thomas Tryon and Bernice (Johnson) Tryon. She is survived by her daughters, Lynn Canada (Roger) of Terre Haute, Jeanie Brazzell (Eddie) of Terre Haute and Patti Miller (Jim) of Lebanon, OH; 5 grandchildren, Shannon, Michael, Eric, Chelsea, and Chase; 5 great grandchildren; a brother, James Tryon; and a sister, Erma Tryon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Bauer who died in 1989; sisters, Wilma Helms and Genevieve Smith; and brothers, Thomas Tryon, Bill Tryon, Hobert Tryon, Jr., and Paul Tryon. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Seelyville. Visitation will be Sunday September 25, 2016 from 2:00 until 6:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services on Monday September 26, 2016 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Reverend James Miller officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family suggests that for those who desire memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
