Ethel L. (Darkis) Zink, 76, of Farmersburg, IN passed away on May 9, 2013. She was born September 27, 1936 in West Terre Haute to Charley Darkis and Veachel (Blair) Darkis. She worked along with her husband in their office; she was a homemaker, loved camping, needle work, and mushroom hunting. She married John Zink in 1960 and had 32 wonderful years with him before his death in 1992. She is also preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers Leland, Harry, Charley, Delbert, Gary and a nephew Perry Dively. Ethel is survived by one sister Linda (Ellsworth Perry) Dively of Farmersburg, one brother Herman Darkis of Lake Station, IN, one step son William Zink, two step grandsons, 4 step great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday May 13, 2013 at Noon in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive. Rev. Ken Coffman will be officiating. Burial will be in K. of P. Cemetery in Hymera, IN. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday May 12, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
