Erma P. Kirk, 91, of Terre Haute passed away Monday July 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm in her residence. She was born July 8, 1927 in West Union, IL to Joseph Creed and Sophia (Lathrop) Creed. Erma is survived by daughters, Peggy Lowe of Fontanet  and Angela Statts (Charles) of Henderson, KY; sons, Tom Kirk (Jackie) of Rosedale, Richard Kirk (Kathy) of Seelyville, and Howard Kirk, Jr.; a sister, Dollie James of Terre Haute and 22 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Kirk who died April 21, 2001, a daughter, Pam Taylor, a son, Bill Kirk, and a sister, Myrna Brenton. Erma was a member of Grace Baptist Church and a Foster Grandparent. Visitation will be Friday July 13, 2018 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services on Saturday July 14, 2018 at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor James Haddix officiating.
