Eric Richard Magill, Sr., 50, of Terre Haute passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 9, 2024. He was born January 11, 1974.  Eric was an avid motorcyclist.  He enjoyed being a coach for his kids and was planning to coach for his youngest, Keegan, as well.  Eric loved to play video games with the kids and do various projects around home.  The family loved to go camping at Owen Putman State Forrest. He worked at Thyssenkrupp as plant administrator and was a past Union President.

Eric is survived by his children Eric Magill, Jr., Audrey Magill, Seth Magill, and Keeghan Magill, fiancée Melissa Alexander, sister Lauren Magill Dootson, stepmother Debbie Thomas, and grandmother Sarah Parker, brother Steven Reed II (Ashley) and Carl Hollingsed, aunt Eva Hill (John), uncle George Harvey (Pam), uncle Butch Harvey, cousins Cristy Porter and Linda Hair, as well as several family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Agnes Hollingsed Edmonson, uncle Leon Harvey, cousin Phillip Harvey, and grandparents Loren and Dorothy Hollingsed.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Donations can be made directly to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
