Elizabeth M. Burnett, 93, of Rosedale, passed away Sunday February 13, 2022 in her residence. Elizabeth had been a dental assistant, homemaker and worked in the cosmetic department at Meis. She was born January 9, 1929 in Obernitz, Czechoslovakia to Oskar and Ida (Burgman) Paukert. Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Linda Sparger (John) and Ingrid Kilpatrick (Michael); sons, Michael Burnett (Melody) and Robert :Bob: Burnett (Michelle); sister, Taudi Sauer; brother-in-law, James Bickel; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, two nieces, three nephews, three great-nephews, and five great-nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Burnett, who died April 11, 2013 and a sister-in-law, Patty Ann Bickel. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. Elizabeth was the most caring, selfless and giving person. Everyone who met her fell in love with her instantly. Her family was so very important to her. Always asking "you need anything? Got enough gas?" Elizabeth was so special to all and will be truly missed. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Intrepid Hospice. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday February 17, 2022 at 12:05 pm in St. Benedict Catholic Church with Father Fred Pasche officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
