Elizabeth "Liz" Olivarri Malone, 69, passed away June 29, 2022 after her second, hard fought, battle with cancer.  She was born in Gary, IN on November 20, 1952 to Francisco B. Olivarri and Celia "Sally" Holguin Olivarri Moreno.  Liz was preceded in death by her parents; sister Aurora Olivarri; brother Stephen "Steve" Olivarri; nephews, Jack D. Walker, Austin Olivarri, and Brian Brandenburg.  She is survived by the love of her life and best friend, husband of 43 years, Mark Malone;  siblings Frank Olivarri (Dee), Rudolph Olivarri, Margaret Dejanovic (Joe), Julie Olivarri Chitwood, Fred Olivarri (Sara), Christine Olivarri, Theresa Bogert (Kent), and Paul Olivarri; Brother-in-Law Mike Malone (Barb); numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Liz had an absolutely great smile and a natural ability to communicate/relate with people from all walks of life.  She was genuinely sweet and loved all people and animals – especially her dog Buddy and cat Baby.  Liz worked, selling advertising and in numerous corporate offices.  She was a firm believer in volunteering and volunteered for numerous organizations.  She loved the game of golf, was an avid player and belonged to several golf leagues.  Liz loved the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, and IU Basketball.  Visitation for Liz will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Saturday, July 9th from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM with services starting at 7:00 PM.
