Edward "Eddie" Duane Outcalt, 85, of Terre Haute passed away Friday, July 15, 2022. He was born February 24, 1937 in Flat Rock, Illinois to Dale and Juanita Outcalt. Eddie was a barber for 54 years, the last 48 years in Terre Haute. He was a town leader in Shelburn. Eddie was a member of the Methodist Temple, taught Sunday school class, and sang 10 years in the Gospel Quartet. He loved gardening and doing home projects. Eddie will be missed by many. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Ruth Pauline Outcalt, sons Todd Outcalt and Ty Outcalt, grandchildren Chelsey Janney, Logan Outcalt, Morgan Hollin, and Claire Outcalt, brother Bernard Outcalt, sister Nedra Pleasant, and little brother Dustin Jodry. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 17, 2022 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Chris Gadlage officiating. Burial will follow at Mt.
