Edra I. Wilson (Toney), 65, of Terre Haute, Indiana, formerly of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away on September 27, 2025 from an extended illness.  She was surrounded by the lover of her family members at home.

Edra enjoyed camping, gardening, working on puzzles, and spending time with her family.  She was a sweet, caring soul.  Her compassion followed her into her career at Vigo County School Corporation of 20+ years.  There she made sure the students and teachers received what they needed by working in the Book Depository Warehouse.

She is survived by her husband (high school sweetheart) Doug Wilson, of 48 years; her sisters JoAnn McLaughlin-Gunno (Gary) and Sandra Fort (Bert); brother Billy Toney; son Doug Wilson (Tracy); daughter Brandi Edwards (Patrick); grandchildren McKenzie, Dakota, and Kairi.

Visitation services will be held at DeBaun Funeral Home on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at Haven of Rest in Red House, West Virginia on Sunday, October 5, 2025.
