Dorothy Conklin Watson formerly of Terre Haute, Indiana, wife of the late Edward Eugene Watson, passed away in EasleySC, Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Dorothy with a masters degree in cosmetology owned and operated the Style Coif Beauty Salon in Jasonville, Indiana for twenty years. She was born June 22, 1919 in VigoCounty, near Sandford, Indiana to Everett Conklin & Ruth Denham Conklin. She was preceded in death by her parents son Edward E. Watson II, twin sister Doris Frye, and sister Lois Burris. Survivors include son David Watson & wife Patricia, Four Grand children and nine great grand children, four Nieces and three nephews. She was a member of The First Baptist Church in Jasonville, Indiana and had been a member of Gamma Chapter of Triads, member of Delta Xi of Kappa, Kappa, Kappa, National Society of Daughters of American Revolution and National Society of Colonial Dames XVII. Funeral Services will be held at DeBaun Funeral Home, Springhill Chapel in Terre Haute, Indiana, on Monday, August 12, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
