Dorothy Lucille "Grandma Dodo" Thompson, 95 of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 4:05 in her residence. She was born in Vigo County, IN on March 11, 1920 to George Cutsinger and Sophia Hoopengarner Cutsinger. She was preceded in death by her husband Claude Thompson, and son Larry Thompson, as well as five brothers; Levi, Ralph, Roy, Ervin, and Jim Cutsinger, and four sisters; Mary Cutsinger, Jessie Thompson, Uleda Cutsinger, and Hazel Ostlund. Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Linda Copeland ( & husband Leone), and Brenda Taylor. Also surviving is a daughter-in-law, Vickie Thompson, as well as 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She retired after several years at Quaker Maid, was a member of Wabash Valley Senior Citizens, she loved to play cards and was the "Bingo Queen", and she also loved to bake bread and in turn give it away. Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Herb Wrate officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Creek Westlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM in DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
