Dorothy Jane Strain, 82, of Farmersburg passed away on July 24, 2013. She was born on January 25, 1931 to Joseph Pearison and Lois (Cunningham) Pearison. Dorothy enjoyed walking and sewing. She attended Farmersburg Methodist Church. Dorothy is survived by her children Rick Strain, wife Adriana, Mark Strain, wife Patricia, Cherri Brooks, husband Michael, Randy Strain, and his wife Mary Beth; brother Lester Pearison; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; son Gary Strain in 1980; and siblings Paul Pearison, Harold Pearison, and Mildred Rudy. Graveside services are scheduled 11:00a.m. on Saturday July 27, 2013 at Farmersburg West Lawn Cemetery in Farmersburg, IN. Rev. Don Ransford will be officiating.
