Dorothy A. Silcott, 83, lifelong Terre Haute resident passed away September 22, 2015 at Union Hospital. She was born May 29, 1932 to Paul and Bertha (Clark) Morris. She was a retired switchboard operator for General Telephone and Terre Haute Medical Laboratory. Her husband, Claude B. Silcott preceded her in death in 1996. She is survived by her sons and their spouses: Michael and Carol Ann Silcott and David and Debra Silcott, a sister Betty Jandura, and a close personal friend Jane Marnul. She has seven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles Morris. Memorial services will be held in DeBaun Springhill Chapel 11 a.m Friday, September 25, 2015 with Rev. Allissa Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time. Private burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
