Dorothy J. Norris, 68, of Terre Haute, passed away at 10:52 PM on Thursday, April 4, 2013 in Union Hospital. She was born in Terre Haute on August 27, 1944 to James D. Buchanan and Dorothy Mae Fields Buchanan. She is survived by her children; Donald Hoke, Deborah Hoke, Richard Hoke, Diana Hoke, and Michael Hoke. Also surviving are two sisters, Sara Gearlds and Jennifer Walters, as well as 14 grandchidlren, 8 step-grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents James D. Buchanan and Dorothy Mae Buchanan, as well as by six brothers. In keeping with her wishes, funeral services are private with burial in Roselawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
