Donnieta Kay Elmore, 50 of Sullivan, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 5:30 AM in her residence. She was born in Frankfort, IN on June 8, 1963 to Donald Ray Herrick and Sharon Farrand Herrick. Donnieta was a registered nurse at Terre Haute Regional Hospital, with a deep passion for nursing, which explains her great need to be of service to others. She had a love for life and an extremely positive outlook on everything, but foremost with Donnieta was her devotion to the Lord. She was a member of Faith Wesleyan Church. She is survived by her husband Roger Elmore, and her children Adam (Hillary) Pair, Adriana Pair, Corinna Spurgin, Adam Spurgin, Laura (Tom) Swiger, Jay (Brenda) Giacone, Sara Elmore, and David Elmore. Also surviving is her father, Donald Herrick, and brother Mark Herrick. Other survivors include her grandchildren; Serenity, Devin, Amber, Jamie, Mandy, Hannah, Brooke, Eva, Josh, Brittany, and Jessica; mother-in-law, Eva Elmore and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. She was preceded in death by her mother Sharon Herrick. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, March 10, 2014 in DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. A Worship Service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 in Faith Wesleyan Church at 7:00 PM. Private burial will be in New Harmony Cemetery.
