Donna Kay Counterman,75, passed away on April 6, 2021 at Springhill Village.  She was born in Decatur, IL on December 24, 1945 to Elmer "Pete" LaBounty and Marjorie Strange LaBounty.  Donna is preceded in death by both parents; husband Emery "Butch" Counterman; son Bob Counterman, as well as her daughter Lori Ann Counterman.  She is survived by her son Chuck Counterman (Kim Ricketts); grandchildren Jared Counterman (Tara), Robert Counterman, Ashley Counterman (Danny Houser), and Brittany Counterman (Leslie); great-grandchildren Olivia, Sophia, Rylan, and Lexi; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.  A special thank you taking great care of Donna goes to the Grassick family as well as Dick and Linda Culver.  Donna was a member of Apostolic Faith Tabernacle Church.  Her and her late husband were members of the Model A Club as well.  They once drove an old Model A truck to Niagara Falls even.  The once belonged to the CB Club in Clay City.  Donna loved hummingbirds and working the garden.  More than anything though she loved spending time with family.  Especially her grand and great-grandchildren.  Visitation for Donna will be held on Monday, April 12 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 1:00-3:00 PM with funeral services starting at 3:00 PM.  Burial at Grandview Cemetery will follow.  Brother Wheeler will be officiating the service.
