Donna J. Baker, 73, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday April 20, 2019 at 5:31 am in Providence Healthcare. She was a school teacher in Vigo County for 42 years, having taught at West Vigo Middle School and Woodrow Wilson Middle School. She was born May 10, 1945 in Terre Haute to Harold and Virginia (Deal) Cottom. Donna is survived by a son, Matt Baker (Jan) of Goshen, IN; a daughter, Amanda Lee (Heath) of Terre Haute; a brother, Charles Cottom (Francine) and grandchildren, Ryan and Hannah. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Cottom. Visitation will be Friday April 26, 2019 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services on Saturday April 27, 2019 at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating. Burial will be in New Harmony Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Donna's name to the Vigo County Education Foundation.
