Donald "Don" Wayne Taylor, 83, of Farmersburg, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026. He was born on August 10, 1942, in Terre Haute to Russell Taylor and Helen Loveall Taylor.  Don graduated from North Central High School and served his country in the United States Army.  He later went on to work and retire from AET (formerly Hercules).  Don was a long-time member of Friendship Baptist Church.  His happiness was tinkering in the garage and woodworking.  Being with his family, especially the grandchildren, brought him the most joy. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Don is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 64 years, Mary Cottom Taylor; daughter Donna Neidlinger and son Brent Taylor (Martha); grandchildren Taylor Neidlinger (Kacy), Kaytlyn Hubbard (Jacob), and Connor Taylor, great-granddaughter Isabella Hubbard, and sister Lynn Robinson. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ronald Taylor, and sister Connie "Susie" Braun.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Service will begin at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor James Larger officiating.
