Donald Ray Gabbard, 59, of Terre Haute, passed away at 4:50p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2014. He was born on March 30, 1954 in Terre Haute to Charles Gabbard Jr. and Alice (Oricks) Gabbard. Donald enjoyed fishing. Donald is survived by his son Brad Chironna, and his wife Katie; granddaughter Kinsley Chironna; brothers and sisters Mickey Gabbard, Chet Gabbard, Charles Gabbard, Randy (Elizabeth) Gabbard, and Terry Gabbard all of Terre Haute, Elsie Bunch of Bedford, Debbie (Albert) Glaspie, Ella Reely, Connie (Mark) Vester, and Diana (Jimmy) Shorter all of Terre Haute; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings Robert Gabbard, Timmy Gabbard, Carolyn Willis, and Pat Black. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 1:00p.m. in DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
