Donald E. Deal, 78, passed away May 23, 2023. He was born on August 23, 1944 in Canton, IL to Raynes and Thelma Deal. He married Julia (Kester) Deal on May 29, 1962. He is survived by his wife, children Brian Deal and Angie Robinson (Rob); grandchildren, Robert Scott Robinson, Elizabeth Ann Robinson, and Evan Tyler Deal; step-grandchildren, Becky Morris and Bobby Poland; Samuel Robinson, Brantley Robinson, Bailey Robinson, and several other great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Larry Deal. He had many hobbies including woodworking, forging, jewelry making, tractor pulling, and fishing. He was also a member of the Church of Christ in Prairie Creek. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He loved being surrounded by family and helping anyone in need. He was also known for being a practical joker. There will be a private graveside at Prairie Creek West Lawn, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
