Dominic Mikutis, 83, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016 in Crown Point, Indiana. He was born April 7, 1933 to Sonia and Dominick Mikutis in East Chicago, Indiana. On May 28, 1960 he married Sharon Gail Tarrh in Terre Haute Indiana. Dominic taught high school math for 35 years for the School City of East Chicago in East Chicago, Indiana.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon, his two daughters Rebecca (Brent) Sherman of Crown Point, Indiana and Jerry Mikutis of Chicago, Illinois, 3 Grandchildren - Zachary Sherman, Sam Barloga and Emily Sherman, a sister, Sophia Yankey of Merrillville, Indiana, a niece, Linda (Bobby) Kralek of Cedar Lake, Indiana, a sister-in-law, Jerry Jeffers of Terre Haute, 4 brother-in-laws, Jerrold (Betty) Tarrh of Indianapolis, William Tarrh of Terre Haute, Richard (Debby) Tarrh of Terre Haute, Robert Joseph Tarrah of Terre Haute, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his mother-in-law, Martha Tarrh, his father-in-law, Jerrold Tarrh, and his brother-in-law, Frank Yankey.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Debaun Funeral Home, Springhill Chapel, 85 East Springhill Drive, Terre Haute. Family can visit starting at 11:00 AM. Funeral services for Dominic will follow at 1:00. Dominic will be laid to rest at Pogue Cemetery located near Fairbanks in Sullivan County, Indiana,
