Denver C. Johnson, 91, of Terre Haute, passed away December 7, 2013 in his residence. He was born January 23, 1922 to Roscoe Johnson and Fannie (Drake) Johnson. Denver served in the United States Army. He was a member of the VFW #972. He is survived by his wife Martha Kelley Williams Johnson; daughter Marjorie "Gayle" Bourn; step sons Gary Williams and Larry Williams; 2 grandchildren; 1 step grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. VFW #972 will be giving military honors on Tuesday December 10, 2013 at 11:00a.m. in DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive. Burial will be in Farmersburg Westlawn. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00a.m. until service time. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to VFW#972.
