Dennis S. Malone, 69, of Farmersburg passed away in his residence on Saturday, June 3, 2017.

He was born February 7, 1948 in Vigo County to Emmett Malone and Irene Clark Malone.

He was a member of Farmersburg United Methodist Church. Dennis retired from International Paper Company.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Janice (Romine) Malone; two sons, Michael and his wife,  Kristal (Beaucamp) Malone and Marc Malone and his spouse, Nolan Mendenhall; his sister, Judy Malone; and his father-in-law, Earl Romine, both of Farmersburg. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Tristen Malone and Devon Malone, both of Clay City; stepgrandchildren, Yancy Haddix and Oakley (Jamie) Hixon; step great grandson, Hoyt Hixon; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 East Springhill Drive, Terre Haute, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pastor Jeff Blansett will be officiating; burial will be in Farmersburg West Lawn Cemetery.
