Deloris F. 'Susie' Barnes, 92, of Terre Haute passed away July 21, 2014. She was born on May 21, 1922 to Algan and Ola (Allison) Barnes. Miss Barnes retired as a presser at Felix Cleaners. She is survived by her longtime companion Dick Layman, a brother Ovid Barnes, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents, and brothers and sisters Forrest Barnes, Letha Mae Barnes, Robert Lee Barnes, Paul Leon Barnes, Charles Edward Barnes, Algan Leroy Barnes, Gladys Osborne, Dorothy Handy, Doris Boller, Harold Barnes, and William H. Barnes. Funeral services will be on Friday at 2 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel with Vince McFarland officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
