Amberger); great-grandchildren: Madison Keyes and Caden Keyes. He is also survived by many friends, and family members who mourn his passing. Delmar is preceded in death by his parents: Floyd and Faye Pugh; his first wife, Rita J. Flynn Pugh; his second wife, Judith Ward Pugh; his son, Steven Lee Pugh; and,his four-legged buddy, Paco. Delmar attended Pimento High School and graduated from Gerstmeyer High School in 1955. "Del" had many full and distinguished careers, some of which include: maintenance supervision at Alcan Aluminum and Whirlpool, Interstate Welding, Vigo Dodge, Rural Water Company and was a realtor. Del always found a way to stay busy whether it was driving a motor home around America with his late wife, Judy, to working on a 125 year old house with the help of his entire family. He found time to be involved in Boys Club, Farmer's Chapel Church, and Kids Hope. Some may remember Del as a story-teller; he was not just a story-teller... he was the best! He could inspire you with hours and hours of words or with just one phrase. He knew what you wanted to hear and more importantly he knew what you needed to hear. He was a teacher of Christian values and morals, even though those values never applied to a round of 18; he will have an easy time making par up in Heaven. Del was a hero to so many people. He would want us to remember him by living well, laughing often, and loving much. He lived a long and loving life and cared deeply for those around him. He was loved and will be deeply missed. Cremation was chosen and internment will be at Grandview Cemetery in Terre Haute, Indiana. Family and friends are encouraged to share memories of Del at the Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 5th from 11 AM-1 PM with service at 1pm at DeBaun Funeral Home, 85 E. Springhill Rd, Terre Haute, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you make contributions to the Kids Hope, CODA, or the charity of your choice in his honor.
