Deborah Lee Fox-Tucker, 79 of Terre Haute, Indiana, died Thursday January 22, 2026 at Union Hospital. She is the wife of Robert Charles Tucker.
Born in Terre Haute, Indiana on October 21st, 1946, to the late Kenneth Fox Sr and Evelyn (Humphreys) Fox, Deborah grew up near Riley, Indiana. In her youth she boldly explored caves in the surrounding areas with her siblings. She was a stay at home mother and also worked in a variety of secretarial roles, at WIC, and retail jobs before retiring. She wrote poetry, sewed, worked leather, read history, and helped others. She greatly enjoyed traveling and meeting new people when not spending time with family.
Survivors: Son: Jason Allen McFerren and his wife KiLee of Canton, IL. Grandchildren: Juniper and Linnaea McFerren. Siblings: Kenneth Fox, Sandra (Fox) McDermott, Candra (Fox) Warren, and Victor Fox.
Stepdaughter Phyllis and husband Steven Bales, Karen and and husband Robert Denny. Step grandchildren: Jason, Josh, and Justin Matney. Step great grandchildren: 6
Deborah had so much love for all of her family and friends. She helped as many people as she could throughout life, regardless of color or creed. She conquered gracefulness, patience, kindness and gratitude. Her family is so very grateful for the time they had with her, and she will be missed dearly.
