Dean L. Hauser, 86, of Pimento, passed away Sunday June 9, 2019 at 7:22 pm in Life's Journey of Avon. He was a truck driver with the Teamsters Union. He was born May 8, 1933 in Farmersburg to Floyd Hauser and Hazel (Shadow) Hauser. Dean is survived by his daughter, Billie Gray; sons, Rick Hauser (Sue) and Mike Hauser (Kelly); sisters, Barbara Woodruff, Diana Quilliam, and Evelyn Price; a brother, Bob Hauser; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Hauser, who died August 29, 2012. Dean was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons, the American Legion, and the Hoosier Big Country. He was an avid Cubs and IU Basketball fan and enjoyed tournament fishing. Visitation will be Wednesday June 12, 2019 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 12:00 pm in the funeral home.
