David E. Muncie, 54, of Sullivan, passed away at 3:45 PM on Sunday, May 24, 2015 in Sullivan. He was born in Baumholder, Germany on June 23, 1960 to Jack Muncie and Beverly Hubbs Muncie. David was a production supervisor for Futaba Indiana of America in Vincennes, IN, and was previously employed at Pfizer. He was a 1979 graduate of Terre Haute South High School and attended Oregon Baptist Church, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife Mary E. Roberts Muncie, parents Jack & Beverly Muncie, and two daughters; Chasity Long Lakin (Josh), and Brooke Wilkinson (Troy). David was Grampy to Dakota Verbonitz, Leighton Shay Verbonitz, Carter Wilkinson, and Violet Wilkinson. Also surviving are four sisters; Debra Brown (Paul), Jackie Price, Penny Talpas (Mark), and Jenifer Blankenship (Dennis). Other survivors include his nephews and nieces; Brandon Brown, Chad Talpas, Clay Talpas, Caleb Talpas, Michael Blankenship, Ashley Stirrett, Katelyn Blankenship, and Michelle Price. Memorial services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 5:00 PM with Rev. Fred Harrison and Rev. Paul Brown officiating. Visitation will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Friday from 3:00 – 5:00 PM.
