David Bob Hicks, 63, of Terre Haute, IN died on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at his home.  He was born to C. Leroy Hicks and Charlotte Irene (Risley) Hicks on May 26, 1961. David is survived by his loving wife Sandra (Houghton) Hicks; daughters Jessica Deener (Darrius) and Jennifer Hicks; step-daughter Kelly Cooper (Curt); brothers Paul Hicks (Nancy), Leroy Hicks (Kennetha); sister Sharon Lirkwood; and 10 grandchildren. David was preceded in death by both his parents.

David loved to make knives in his free time.  He also loved hunting and fishing.  David worked as a Pipe Fitter with the Local #157.

Visitation will take place on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at DeBaun Springhill Chapel.  Service will begin at the funeral home at 3:00pm with Elder Tom Woodason officiating.  Per David's wishes, cremation will take place following the service.  Online condolences may be made at www.debaunfuneralhomes.com
