Dillon
David William "Bill" Dillon, 73, of Terre Haute, IN passed away Thursday March 3, 2016 at 4:10 pm in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was co-owner, along with his wife, of Quality Fence. David was born January 16, 1943 in New Milton, WV to Robert T. Dillon and Bonnie R. (Davis) Dillon. He is survived by his wife, Susan (Coutts) Dillon, whom he married August 11, 1962; daughters, Corinne A. McAbier (Ron) of New Philadelphia, OH and Sarah E. Carson (John) of Terre Haute; sons, Dennis W. Dillon (J.R. Hershberger) of Terre Haute and Matthew D. Dillon (Jamie) of Terre Haute; a sister, Wanda S. Denzer of Louisville, OH; a brother, Donald R. Dillon of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, Olivia, Jacob, Grace, and Isaiah Carson, Ashton and Gage Dillon, Kaleb and Maggie McAbier and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Christine Sue Dillon, a sister, Robin M. Tice, a brother, Edsel T. Dillon, and a granddaughter, Serena Joy Carson. David was a member of Faith Wesleyan Church, a member of the Board of Governors of American Fence Association and he was a CFP (Certified Fence Professional). Visitation will be Sunday March 6, 2016 from 2:00 until 5:00 pm in Faith Wesleyan Church, 6751 S. Carlisle St., Terre Haute, IN 47802 and on Monday March 7, 2016 from 10:00 until 11:00 am. Funeral services will be on Monday March 7, 2016 at 11:00 am in the church with Pastors Ray Austin and Philip Gormong officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Terre Haute. DeBaun Funeral Home, 85 E. Springhill Dr. Terre Haute, IN 47802 is in charge of arrangements. There will also be an Open House Celebration for friends and family on Saturday March 12, 2016 at Maggoos Restaurant, 1816 E. High Ave., New Philadelphia, OH 44663 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. The family suggests that for those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to either Faith Wesleyan Church or Next Step, 619 Washington St., Terre Haute, IN 47802.
