Dan A. Sellers, 74, passed away on October 7, 2021.  He was born in Indianapolis on July 28, 1947 to Daniel E. Sellers and Thelma M. Plaster Sellers.  Dan was preceded in death by both parents as well as his sister Geraldine Murphy.  Dan is survived by his son Daniel Sellers (Melissa) and granddaughter Victoria Sellers.  Dan loved fishing, golfing, and playing softball.  He enjoyed watching the Chicago White Sox and St. Louis Cardinals.  Dan was a diehard IU Hoosier fan.  He served his country in the United States Army 25th Infantry Division and was Vietnam Veteran, in which he earned a Bronze Star.  Dan was a proud American Legion and VFW member.  He was retired from Caterpillar Tractor in Aurora, IL in 1999.  Visitation for Dan will be held at DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel on Tuesday, October 12 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.  Friends and family will have an opportunity to share their stories about Dan at 12:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donation be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
