Dale L. Liggett, 79, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday December 13, 2022 in Union Hospital. He was a retired 5th grade teacher in Martinsville, Illinois. Dale was born March 25, 1943 in Danville, Illinois to Layton and Ruth (Swaim) Liggett. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn "Jean" (Davis) Liggett; son, Scott Liggett and his wife Jo and his beloved dog, Benny. Dale was a graduate of Eastern Illinois University where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He enjoyed fishing and bowling and loved going every morning for his morning coffee.
