Cynthia Jane Rutledge, 67, of Terre Haute passed away on February 20, 2023.  She was born February 11, 1956 in Terre Haute to Calvin O. Rutledge and Myrtle Girton Rutledge.  Cindy spent many years participating at Happiness Bag where she was able to develop skills and enjoy activities.  She especially loved the formal dances.  Cindy was very close with her roommate Karen.  The two of them were great friends.  Sadly, Karen passed away.  Although Cindy faced many challenges, she enjoyed her life very much and was very loved.

Cindy is survived by sister Wanda Stephens (Tom), brothers Richard Rutledge (Nancy), Donald Rutledge (Debbie), Cal Rutledge (Nancy), and Jerry Rutledge (Sheila), as well as many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Bonnie Donely and Myrna Dunn, brother Robert Rutledge, Sr., and nephews Robert Rutledge, Jr., Zachary Young, Joshua Knight, and Sonny Underwood.

Visitation will be Tuesday February 28, 2023 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Larry Branham officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Online condolences may be left at www.debaunfuneralhomes.com
